The objective of the Technical Data Committee
is to ensure that all available technical information generated by COSMET
members, and by outside firms and associations, is made available to all members. Additionally the committee ensures the information is compatible with COSMET objectives as laid down in the constitution. Information generated during presentations is obtained as part of the normal meeting minutes or received directly from the presenter.
Information supplied by the members in the form of fixes or repairs, modifications or studies can be part of a presentation or can be supplied to the committee apart from the meetings.
A Technical Manual is the means by which information is assembled and passed on to members. This manual enables members to get answers either directly or indirectly through listed sources of
information.
